Tom Baleshta

Director of Operations

  • corporate planning and client relations.
  • oversees  copter design, construction and maintenance
  • rc pilot

After finishing the Industrial Design program at Carleton University in 1992, Tom moved to Vancouver to pursue a design career and to be close to the recreational activities he loves.  In the course of his career, Tom has used his training to design knee braces, develop quality control systems for Arc’teryx and as a volunteer for the Disabled Sailing Association. Tom started building props for the Vancouver film business in 1994 and began working on set as a Property Master in 1996 where he continues to polish his craft.

When using remote controlled planes as props, Tom recognized their potential as flyers capable of carrying cameras.  He experimented with the technology and now enjoys chasing mountain bikers, skiers and snowboarders hillside.  Using his business skills developed over the years and employing the numerous contacts he made in the film industry, Tom created Tada Films and assembled the quality team responsible for delivering amazing remote video shoots.

Taking full advantage of beautiful coastal BC, one day finds Tom kayaking to Texada Island and the next might witness him skinning to the top of the north shore mountains or skim boarding with his twins down at Jericho Beach.
